Do not send case files
Correction reports should not include child names, home addresses, account numbers, medical records, intimate material, abuse evidence, or other private case documents.
How reports are handled
Safety-related and materially misleading issues receive priority. The publisher may correct wording, replace a source, add context, or explain why the cited material does not support a proposed change.
What a correction may change
A substantiated report may result in a revised sentence, an updated source, a clearer jurisdiction label, a corrected accessibility feature, or removal of an unsupported claim. The page update date is changed when the public content or source set is materially revised.
